Less than a week away from Christmas, Hanukkah has passed, and we are rounding the corner on this dumpster fire of a year! 😊 But there are still delicious holiday treats and flavors to be had. We can still happily eat our feelings! You can definitely eat this dip that will give all the good holiday feels. My dairy free candy cane dip is perfect for the holidays, super easy to whip up and even easier to eat up!
This year has been a doozy, in so many different ways. Life has been topsy-turvy for most of the year. But during all this, there still have been silver linings…sweatpants for days, working from home, puppies, lots of sourdough and not giving a F*! I even started horseback riding again! Horses were a huge part of my childhood and one of my passions. As soon as I stopped riding back in high school, I said I would ride again someday. Well someday is now! So, try to find the joy in the simple pleasures and what gives you pleasure.
This dip is sure to deliver on the pleasure and the holiday flavors! Like I mentioned, this is so easy to make and takes under 20 minutes! Really just mixing all the ingredients together and Bob’s your Uncle! The hardest part of this recipe is unwrapping those damn candy canes. Seriously, why do they make it so difficult?? The dip is refreshing, cool and sure to give you all the holiday feels. Use cookies, pretzels, chocolate, your finger…whatever you want to deliver this dip directly into your mouth! Anything goes, kind of like how in 2020 it’s totally acceptable to start drinking in the afternoon on Tuesday 😉! Just kidding…
Mousse like texture, so soft and so smooth….wasn’t that a song?!
Garnish with more candy cane chunks!
Pizzelle cookies for dipping! So pretty and tasty too!
Take this weekend to reflect on the things that brought joy this year. Start sparking joy this weekend and make my Candy Cane Dip! Heck, have a dessert dinner this weekend. Remember, anything goes and embrace the simple pleasures!
Happy Weekending & Candy Cane Dipping It!
